The shoe is not as soft or bouncy as the normal Vomero 18's. The fit is also a little snug for my liking, but not enough for me to return them. I intend to use these for the rainy weather while on my trip overseas. They're a little bulky, but nothing I'm not accustomed to already by ways of the vomero 5 or zoomx invincible. These needed a little break in time but out the box comfortable enough to wear right away.

This is probably the most versatile shoe i ever worn. Living in British Columbia means dealing with rain all year round. This is the perfect trainer’s for wet days, trail, easy run. They do run .5 too small and I don’t see this shoe running a fast half marathon. The Zoom X doesn’t feel so bouncy but still a very smart blend with React X in my opinion. 4/5
