The herringbone traction pattern is made from our new rubber compound that's lighter than Vapors of the past. It allows you to decelerate, plant and get back into position without feeling like you're rounding off your cuts.
We brought back the firm midfoot plastic piece seen on past Vapors to provide optimal stability and transitions when cutting from side to side. The supportive piece also allowed us to remove the rubber in the midfoot, which helps reduce the overall weight of the shoe.
A firm foot frame wraps around the supportive midfoot plate and spans from heel to toe, giving you a more secure feel. It helps give you the stability to transfer power during aggressive slides, cuts and pivots.
We reduced the weight of the engineered mesh while maintaining durability in high-wear zones by the toe.

Good performance on pickleball/tennis court! Light weight, and have enough cushion to support the quick change of directions during games. The bottom middle area can be slippery if stepped on something hard.
White shoes are hard to keep white.

The shoe is comfortable, which is rare in tennis shoes. It's disappointing that after a month of use sun exposure in the Texas heat turned the plastic color yellow.
Shoe Size Fit Felt A Bit Tight

I have purchased Nike Cross Trainers, as well as the Nike Vomero and the Nike Air Pegasus and those shoe fit were true to size. The Nike Vapor shoe in the same size fit felt a little bit tighter (smaller). Overall the shoe is alright. Would be reluctant to purchase shoe size a half size larger.
