These are the best running socks on the market, and I have been on the lookout for the best of the best for a long time now. There is enough "snug" to the fit that they can function somewhat similarly to light compression socks. Additionally, the added padding to key areas has essentially eliminated my need to be wearing bandaids with certain shoes. Game changer. Highly recommend.
