Yo wide foot homies! BLAZER GT PRO

H I. - 26 May 2021

Great for wide feet and generally an all around great skate shoe. I just had foot surgery a few months ago and these feel awesome they are durable and wide plus the materials are top tier. If you somewhat like a blazer mid you would fall on love with the gt pro.

love it

Overall the new GT pros are pretty good, although personally I’m disappointed they’re discontinuing the previous GT model which I still like much better. The higher taping certainly makes the shoe hold up better along with the other subtle tweaks. My main complaint is the heel. The heel on the new GT pro is slightly higher and curves inward a bit, I’ll admit it hugs your foot but it’s very easy to stab your Achilles area when skating, and it really starts to hurt after a long skate session. Lastly, I have one personal complaint about the new look of the GT pro. I loved the old GTs because it was pretty much just a reinforced 80s basketball classic with the backing of a beloved pro, it was so clean; you could dress it up or down. With the new GT pros, they’ve done away with that classic look. The new GTs are split into two panels, suede on the front half and canvas on the back, and the sole is much more beefy, making it look much more like an actual skate shoe. It may sound ironic, but I loved how the old ones didn’t particularly look like a skate shoe, they had that classic elegant look from the 80s and still served its purpose for skating extremely well. That’s all I have to say, I hope this review has helped.
