While the jacket looks sporty at first glance, the fit is quite polarizing. It features a cropped style, which feels out of place for a younger girl's track jacket. Instead of providing the coverage and warmth you’d expect from athletic gear, the shorter hem makes it feel more like a fashion statement than a functional piece of clothing. For active kids, this cut is impractical and just doesn't offer the comfort needed for sports or everyday play. The fabric was the biggest disappointment. For the price point, you expect a certain level of durability and softness from Nike. Unfortunately, the material felt thin and cheap. It lacks the weight and "premium" feel of standard Nike pieces. It feels like it may not hold up well after a few cycles in the wash, which is a major red flag for children's clothing. My daughter said it didn't feel good. If you’re looking for a high-quality, functional layer for your daughter, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. The combination of "cheap-feeling" fabric and an awkward crop cut makes this one hard to recommend.

My kid adores this jacket, and since its the black and white version, it goes with everything including all his other Nike stuff. It's comfortable and actually protects him from the weather. We took it on a Eurotrip and it gave shade in warmer countries and then warmth in cooler countries. It's a steal for the money and durable - can't wait to pass it down to my daughter(though Im sure my son wont be happy lol)
