Nike Tech Helios

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this Nike Tech Helios Sun short sleeve shirt. The fabric feels lightweight and very well made, so it’s comfortable even when it’s hot outside. I live in a hot, humid climate, so a shirt like this goes a long way toward keeping me comfortable. My favorite feature is the ventilation along the sides, which really helps improve airflow and makes the shirt even more breathable. Combined with the UPF 40 fabric, it’s a great option for spending time outdoors in the sun. What I liked most about the design is that it feels functional without looking like a typical performance shirt. The hidden buttons give it a cleaner, more polished appearance, making it easy to wear beyond hiking or outdoor activities. It transitions well from being outside to running errands or grabbing lunch without feeling out of place. My biggest issue was the fit. I ordered an XS, and it still runs quite large. The cut is also very boxy, so it wasn’t the most flattering shape on my frame. I think people who prefer a relaxed or oversized fit will probably like it more than I did. It being relaxed, oversized, AND boxy was just too much for my body type. Overall, I think it’s a comfortable, thoughtfully designed shirt with quality materials and practical features. I just wish it had a slightly more tailored fit.

There’s a nice, hidden chest pocket that easily fits a phone and wallet without looking weighed down or sagging. There isn’t a fastener to keep the pocket closed, but nothing has fallen out during regular daily activities. This shirt is an easy go-to piece that really stands out due to its technical features.

If I had to change anything, it would only be to offer it in more colors because I’d definitely want to add a few more to my closet.
