Nike Shox R4

Purchased these for my wife who use to love these shoes back in the early 2000’s. Great build quality, true to size, a very aesthetically pleasing shoe. Very happy with the purchase. Will be purchasing other color ways for her soon!

I primarily look at my Nike shoes for function- running, the gym etc. However, with these shoes I had the opportunity to really embrace the fashion aspect of Nike, and these definitely helped me to elevate that every day look while also being comfortable. The initial fit was a little tight-- they definitely were a more fitted shoe, but after a few wears they loosened up and were easier to slip on and off. I'd say these run pretty true to size, as well. I got my normal size (a 9.5) and they fit well. I appreciated the pop of the metallic silver on the heel "shox". The rest of the shoe was very smooth too- the light grey really stood out against the whiteish base of the shoe, and helped emphasize the Nike swoosh and sleek appearance. The reflective details were further able to help elevate the look and provide just a bit of pizzaz when wearing at night. These are a perfect blend of "matches with everything" and "stand out fashion". I found they paired well with leggings, shorts, and jeans which gave them a bit of versatility. My one concern/complaint? The brushed feel of the material paired with the light color base makes me nervous about how I'm going to keep these clean. Overall though, I'm happy with them and look forward to wearing them out more often.
