Did you know the United Nations recognises play as a fundamental human right? Some kids have more access to this right than others. From unsafe play spaces to underfunded programmes, kids in Black, Latinx and immigrant communities, as well as children with disabilities, often face even more barriers. It's on all of us to show up and speak up—to create equal-opportunity playing fields, courts, schools and streets for all.
