Nike Pegasus 42

I dread having to purchase running shoes, as there are so many to choose from, and each pair fits differently. I love these shoes! I was a huge fan of the Pegasus 38, purchased two pairs. I tried the Pegasus 41 and didn't feel like they had enough cushion on the soles for running, and they just felt hard and cheap on my feet. I saw that the Pegasus 42 was going to be released so I patiently waiting for them- and boy am I glad I did! They are great! They have a tad bit wider toe box compared to the 38, so they aren't as narrow which I love. They have great cushion on the soles so they absorb impact as expected. My legs & feet feel great after brisk walks and jog/runs. I'm normally a size 8 in athletic shoes, but for Nike running shoes I always purchase a size 8.5. These fit great. I purchased the white with green and they look lovely- very sporty. Kinda wish they had more colors to choose from. Will be back for a second pair just to have as backup.

I really like the Pegasus 42. It’s comfortable right away and I can wear it all day without my feet hurting. I’ve used it for walking, lifting and running and it feels lightweight but still supportive. The cushioning is a nice balance; not too soft, not too stiff. Honestly it’s a great everyday shoe for me.

These shoes are *chef’s kiss* - was running in Pegasus Premiums for several weeks before 42’s release and was so nervous to run a race in my 42s having only ran 2.5 miles in them prior to it but BOY did I make the right decision!! The comfortability yet snug fit, the padding yet total control, the weightlessness - this shoe is the total package. Brought me a race PR and no foot aches. You know you’re in a good shoe when you can’t hear your feet slap the pavement. These are it! Thank you Nike!!!
