Converse Chuck 70 High Top

These shoes were a gift, and the recipient was over the moon with them in terms of fit, look/style and color.

Much improved Chucks from the pair I had many years ago. I got them in a beautiful red. The soles are not as soft and cushioned as the Chuck Taylor All Star Move Platforms but they are lighter and lower to the ground.

I don’t think these shoes are for me, the issue i personally have is they scuff incredibly easy on a few parts where they can, getting into them is a huge pain don’t offer much in the ways of ankle support. They do fit well enough, once I can get into them and they are somewhat comfortable to walk in for short periods. I wanted to like these shoes and I’ve been giving them a try over and over but I just find other shoes better that are often cheaper than these ones. I can’t speak for the longevity of them yet people seem to praise those and maybe I can get a lot of good mileage out of them right now, I’m not really impressed. I by no means hate them, but I don’t love them either.
