Colin Kaepernick:
The Power of Collective Action
Colin Kaepernick's optimistic hope for the future is rooted in his belief in our collective power to effect change. As an NFL free-agent quarterback and civil rights activist, the foundation of his approach is steady; when individuals come together and use their unique strengths, we can achieve remarkable things. This theme is present throughout in the symbolism of his collection designed by artist Joy Yamusangie. Each symbol represents elements that inspire Colin to work toward a more equitable future in sport and beyond.
A Beacon of Hope
Colin is devoted to inspiring change, energized by the current progress and untapped potential he sees. At the core of Colin's vision is that individual and collective success are intertwined. In his view, "our collective success moves us all forward."

Kevin Durant:
Black Consciousness & Perspective
KD’s journey to wellness is guided by consciousness, perspective and vulnerability, which he learned from the game of basketball and the places it has taken him. ‘Black Consciousness’ is a way of life for Black people who see their value and progression towards holistic liberation, which KD embodies through his many endeavors, including philanthropy through the Durant Family Foundation.
Equity In Well-Being
KD’s greatness is matched only by his humility, reflecting that he is only “one of 8 billion.” Like most, KD must work to pursue his wellness, both mentally and physically, in order to be of service and help push society forward towards equity. He hopes that other Black athletes* feel empowered to prioritize their overall health so that they can also support their community’s well-being.
