ナイキ ACG ペガサス トレイル

Best shoes by nike yet! Very comfortable, have traction for hiking trails and waterproof. This will be no go to shoe. I have had variability with comfort with Nike, but these are perfect!

I’ve had two previous models of this shoe and the 3rd edition is my all-time favorite trail shoe. I was excited for this one but it’s just ok. The lugs are shredding at about 50 miles in. That’s never happened and I’ve worn a few different brands over the years. The sole design takes away from a natural stride somehow, like it’s a bit laboring to walk in them at times. They aren’t very stable laterally either as they don’t lock in very well around the ankle. I rate them 6/10 overall. They get the job done but I feel like Nike tends to over-engineer shoes instead of keeping what works. Or they’ll use a frame that works on another shoe, add vibram and charge $260.

New Pegasus ACG is a bit firmer than the previous model. Still has good rebound and I prefer the added stability. Bit more lift also which is fine and brings the show closer to the Hoka type of sole. The traction is better than the previous model. Shoe remains extremely comfortable for road and trail. I size up a 1/2 size with this model.
