The Jordan OTDR Sandal is an absolute winner for high-energy kids who refuse to slow down when the weather warms up. Right out of the box, the fit is incredibly secure thanks to the adjustable strap system, giving excellent ankle support without rubbing or causing blisters, a rare feat for a rugged utility sandal. The feel is lightweight yet cushioned, meaning kids can sprint, climb, and jump on concrete or dirt without complaining about sore feet. Structurally, the design nails that classic, aggressive Jordan aesthetic, successfully shrinking down a streetwear look into a functional, durable kids' shoe. The heavy-duty textile fabric and mesh upper are highly breathable, dry fast after water play, and hold up remarkably well against scuffs and scrapes. What we liked most is the balance between a breathable open design and a protective toe lip, which saves little feet from inevitable stubs. If there is one thing to change, it would be making the main pull-tabs slightly larger; younger kids might struggle a bit to pull them on entirely by themselves. Overall, it's a stellar, tough-as-nails summer sandal that looks great and actually survives the playground.
