Convertible Coverage

Removable flaps increase coverage of your neck and the sides of your face. The flaps are lined with mesh to help reduce cling. A stretchy drawcord helps keep the hat in place while you're on the go—or if windy weather rolls in.

Kente Cloth

At the request of Serena Williams, the Serena Design Crew integrated the beauty of Kente cloth onto the sweatband. Originating in West Africa, Kente cloth is a vibrant handwoven textile that's steeped in the cultural traditions of the Ashanti people, among others. Each piece brings together texture and color with symbolic meaning, creating a cohesive collection that honors Serena's legacy—on and off the court. The team chose to alter the traditional zigzag pattern to highlight the letter “S" for Serena while symbolizing life's nonlinear path.
