Nike Air Max Origins

Revolutionary Air technology first made its way into Nike footwear in 1978. In 1987, the Air Max 1 debuted with visible Air technology in its heel, allowing fans more than just the feel of Air cushioning—suddenly they could see it. Since then, next-generation Air Max shoes have become a hit with athletes and collectors by offering striking color combinations and reliable, lightweight cushioning.

  • Sturdy and Comfy

    Joe - May 16, 2024

My first impression was “this thing is a boot!” This shoe is heavier than the shoes I typically wear. The pro of this is how sturdy and secure your foot feels when you put the shoe on. The show was comfortable right out of the box with no need of a break in period. The 270 Air Max bubble provides a “walking on clouds” feeling from the softness of each step in addition to giving you an extra inch or so in height! At simultaneously, the shoe provides a great amount of bounce or energy return in each step you take. The shoe has served me well for all day wears, walks in the park and as my go to gym shoe.

Colorway is beautiful! Used it for work and at first they were a little stiff but after a couple days of wear they loosened up. They feel tough and sturdy. As an air max lover I think this new style is up to par as fitting comfort and style.

  • Comfy, good but a little bit too big

    Danny - May 05, 2024

This sneaker surprised me a lot. When I first saw them I thought they looked like boots, and they really do, but they are more comfortable than what I expected them to be. I spent a lot of time on my feet while wearing them, and I didn’t feel any fatigue or discomfort. The materials are really good, and they feel like they will last a while. If I would complain about something, it would be the fit. It is rare when Nike has shoes that do not fit true to size, and this is one of them. I would recommend going down half a size for a better fit, as they feel just a little too big. I have a pic comparing them to a Jordan 11 Low, so you can see.
