The absence of a front seam helps keep the fabric from riding up. A discreet back pocket and drop-in side pockets that fit most phones help keep the look smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shorts! Side pockets are a must and it's so hard finding 5" bike shorts with pockets. No front seam is also great. I have black and sweet beet and was shocked that the pink is actually sweat proof!

these are 5” but photo looks like 8” shorts
