Structure • A Minimalist Approach to Training
Mobility | The Fleece System
As a physically-active designer, I gravitate toward the clean, minimalist aesthetic of this pair. This aesthetic allows for seamless, multi-disciplinary styling and 'quick grabbing' for multi-function uses. During high-output activities, the shoe operates as an incredibly supportive self-sustaining "system" all-on-their-own. The elevated midsole and accessible upper are standout features - building the structural platform of the sneaker in a given number of high-intensity training and/or jogging efforts. An unexpected but highly welcomed lift makes the pair match my physical proportion and exertion regardless of how hard I'm going. The Critique: The fit can be notably snug out of the box. Additionally, the materials carry a more substantial physical weight than anticipated. This can be great for those needing fuller support, BUT those needing minimal weight may find themselves a bit disappointed. Despite that, this pair brings a highly compelling and stylish artifact for daily movement!
