The NanoKnit 7” shorts have quickly become my new go-to for workouts and casual daily wear. The NanoKnit/DRI-Fit feels thick and high quality to the point that the shorts initially seemed more like a casual wear piece; however, the stretch and breathability of the material strikes the perfect balance of durability, comfort, and performance leaving them a fantastic option for active wear too. The shorts fit perfectly true to size. The 7” cut feels like the perfect length with the relaxed fit and stretch of the NanoKnit/DRI-Fit material. One thing I immediately noticed with the shorts being a 7” cut was that the pockets feel incredibly deep. Often shorter length shorts come with shallow pockets that leave me worried about my keys, phone, or wallet falling out when sitting, but these shorts are the exact opposite being super deep and also having quality feeling zippers on the pockets. Overall, I have been absolutely loving these shorts with zero complaints. I will definitely be picking up pairs in a few other colors to add to the rotation.

The length is perfect, not too long where they feel baggy like basketball shorts, but not so short that you feel uncomfortable. I’m normally a huge fan of 5” shorts, but these 7” shorts won me over completely. I’ll be honest — my initial concern was that the fabric felt a little thick, but once I started wearing them that hesitation disappeared fast, and they quickly became first in my rotation. The fabric breathes incredibly well and keeps you cool even on longer distance runs. What I also love is the practicality — zippered pockets to hold your keys, phone, and wallet make these just as ideal for running errands as they are for actual runs. These are not just performance shorts, they are an everyday essential for anyone on the move. Here are my final ratings — Material: 9/10, Style: 10/10, Comfort: 10/10, Durability: 10/10.
