I got these for my son as a fun new style to try. They came and are way too big. He’s 7 and on the small side so maybe I overestimated. I’m keeping them until he gets bigger. He likes them and looks forward to wearing them. They’re fun with a lot of cute details like pockets and ties.

Overall, these pants have a lot of positives. The fit around the waist was comfortable and true to size, and the adjustable waistband helped create a secure fit. However, the length was much longer than expected for an XS size. While the waist fit well, the extra length made the pants bunch at the ankles. The design is nice and practical. The cargo pockets add a sporty look and are useful for kids who like having extra places to store small items. The style is versatile enough to wear for school, sports, or casual outings. The fabric was probably my favorite feature. It feels durable and well-made, which is important for kids who are constantly running, climbing, and playing. The material seems like it will hold up well to frequent wear and washing without showing wear too quickly. What I liked most was the quality of the fabric and the comfortable fit through the waist. These feel like pants that can keep up with active kids. The main thing I would change is the length. For an XS, they were noticeably too long, and a more proportionate inseam would make the fit much better. Other than the length issue, these are solid, durable cargo pants that should last a long time.
