Nike Vomero 18

This is the shoe. This is the one that will carry me 26.2 miles, and all of the training miles leading up to it. I’m 6’1”, 225lb, slower marathon finishing time- 4 plus hours, this is the shortest can handle the extensive time on my feet- every step. It’s not built for speed, that’s for sure, but it is great for full foot protection and support with responsive cushion. It has great return through the heel to the toe box. Springy but not wobbly like some other max cushion shoes out there. This is the Goldilocks version. I tried the Vomero plus right next to the 18s and the heel balance was a little twerky for my size so I chose the 18. I love the balance between cushion and stiffer returns without feeling heavy. I can adjust my pace with ease and the 18 allies a seamless transition from fast to slow. Run to jog to run again.

These Kicks are super comfortable and my feet stopped hurting after all the walking I do, average 6 to 9 miles a day. Fantastic shoe, great price, cool lookin too

Great support and cushion. A little heavier so they are better for easier runs. They are perfect in the rotation as my recovery shoe
