ナイキ C1TY "Caution Tape"

this shoe is amazingly comfortable versatile and stylish I love it.

These are replacing dunks as my new “everyday” sneaker because they are just a really good all-purpose comfortable shoe, even though they don’t look nearly as cool as Dunk/AF1/AJ1 (all serve the same “everyday shoe” purpose for me sometimes). The look is a bit generic and just on the cooler end of “dad shoe,” but they have a wide enough toe box (Nike rarely has a wide enough toe box for me), squishy heel, and they aren’t too wedge-shaped (like most Nike running shoes). And the traction is really good on concrete and asphalt. I guess I’d say they are like a hybrid between a Dunk and a classic pre-air ‘80s running shoe in terms of fit and appearance, but there are lots of modern touches for comfort like the cushions that rest against the bottom of my ankle and beside my Achilles. I prefer the colorways that look more neutral/boring for this shoe, as I wear them to work and the C1ty just doesn’t have the retro-cool factor that Dunks or AF1 has to justify a flashy color palette. I look forward to seeing newer versions of these like winterized/gore-tex and perhaps a super-breathable “summer” version. I think it’s odd that they haven’t had solid white or black ones yet, but I’m sure that’s coming. All in all, a great affordable all/purpose sneaker for this transit-commuting working dad.

夏向きの素材と製法で作られています。 素材は少し質感が安定しない人工皮が使われていますが、実用上はそれほど問題ないレベルだと思います。 踵の吊り込み具合が左右で違うのが残念ですが、使えないレベルではありません。 デザインとカラーリングはとても気に入っています。
