I got these shorts for my 8 year old son. They're a little big on him, but wanted to have them a little longer in case he grows during the summer as they're a little pricy for kids clothing. He really likes the look and feel of them. They're his go-to shorts for around the house and he's been using them for baseball practice oddly enough as he says they're really comfortable and warm enough for a mid-western spring season. He's worn them a handful of times, playing pretty rough and they so far seem to be holding up to the abuse both outside playing and in the wash (no color fading or fabric deterioration noticed).

My son loves his “groovy shorts” as he likes to call them. They are soft, comfortable, and have been great for outdoor play or just lounging. The tie die color scheme is great too and fun for kids. They run a little big so he’ll definitely be wearing these for a long time.

My son wore these and seemed to like them ok. The fit was pretty standard to size. The material was the only thing he didn’t care for. Living in Texas it gets really hot here and these shorts aren’t great for the heat. Being a thicker fabric they didn’t breathe well or wick away sweat. He definitely likes the athletic shorts more. These I’m sure would be great in the spring and fall when temperatures are cooler. He didn’t care for the design as much either. Overall I think they just weren’t his style.
