Football coats: all-weather protection

Layers made for movement

Our football jackets are built for the rhythm of the game. Think sharp warm-ups. Intense drills. And soothing cooldowns after the final whistle. Choose from lightweight woven coats, hooded rain layers and insulated designs made to help you stay ready before, during and after play. Streamlined shapes reduce bulk, while easy zips, secure pockets and adjustable details let you switch focus quickly. Pull one on over a shirt for training, pop it over a hoodie for the journey home or wear it with a tracksuit for a clean team look.

Hard-working weather protection

The beautiful game doesn't stop when the forecast changes. Nike Storm-FIT ADV technology combines waterproof and windproof material with advanced engineering and features to help you stay comfortable in harsh weather conditions. Water-repellent materials help shed light moisture, while hooded rain jackets add coverage when the clouds roll in. For colder sessions, quilted fills and synthetic insulation provide warmth without weighing you down. Longer football coats and bench-style layers offer extra coverage when you're waiting on the sidelines, travelling to games or watching from the stands.

Breathable comfort on training days

Training calls for layers that move with you. Check out our football manager coats that feature Nike Dri-FIT technology. This clever material moves sweat away from your skin for quicker evaporation to keep you fresh and snug. Plus, mesh linings and ventilation panels increase airflow where you need it most. Meanwhile, lightweight woven materials feel smooth over base layers and tops. Knit jackets bring a soft and stretchy sensation for warm-ups or recovery. The result? Cosy coverage that helps you move freely from the first touch to the last sprint.

Style for matchdays and your daily rotation

All of the football jackets in our collection give a sharp profile beyond the pitch. Anthem designs bring a sharp pre-match look. Windrunner and full-zip silhouettes give everyday outfits a sport-led edge. Our tracksuits pair easily with joggers or shorts, so you can move from school runs to weekend plans without a complete wardrobe change. Club and national-team designs let you rep your team in a clean, wearable way. Minimalist options keep things streamlined and versatile for daily movement.

Options for every player and supporter

Find a football training jacket in adult and kid sizes that are made for different roles, seasons and routines—without compromising the fit, feel and performance you expect. Younger players can layer up on training nights and matchday mornings. Coaches can choose practical football coats with coverage, pockets and weather protection. Supporters can reach for authentic club apparel that is perfect for the commute, in the stands or on the sofa.

Frequently asked questions about football jackets

What is the best football jacket for winter?

The best football jacket for winter depends on how you use it. During active training, opt for a breathable layer with Nike Dri-FIT technology. For touchlines, travel or coaching, choose an insulated football coat with extra coverage to help you stay cosy in colder conditions.

What is a football bench coat?

A football bench coat is a longer, warmer outer layer designed for players, substitutes and coaches when they're not moving at full intensity. It usually offers more coverage than a standard jacket, with a hood and thick lining for effective insulation. This type of coat is ideal on matchdays when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
