        I was really excited to get this shirt and try it out, because I love the concept of shirts like this with a sort of military styling to them. I'm not a huge fan of these sort of off-white, "vintage" white colors that have become popular lately, generally, but it still fits largely into the neutral color territory I tend to stay in, so I was cool with that. The first thing I noticed about this item was how thick and stiff the material is. It definitely feels very high-quality and durable, but may contribute to some of the other issues I had with the shirt overall. I'm a taller guy at 6'4", so sometimes ordering shirts in an XL to account for height, ends up just getting me a shirt that's wider and boxier in the waist and chest, but not necessarily any longer. This seemed to be the case with this one. When I first tried it on, I noticed right away that it was definitely roomier than I would have liked and not particularly long, but I thought that maybe the stiffness of the heavy fabric might be accentuating the poor fit. So, I figured I'd try washing it to see if things might soften up a bit and drape a little more flatteringly. I made sure not to run it through the dryer, as I definitely didn't want it getting any shorter (a thing I have to do with nearly all my shirts), but it definitely didn't get any softer. I really like the styling of the shirt, and I do dig the high-end feel of the fabric, but at least for my bigger, taller frame, it just feels too wide for how much on the shorter side it is. The lasting stiffness then causes the hemline to sort of float out around me, highlighting how poorly the "oversized fit" and the straight cut at the bottom work with my shape. This same exact shirt may look great on smaller people, and I legitimately think this wouldn't look nearly as wrong on me in a color like black, but at least in this iteration, it wasn't quite right for me.

        Une chemise avec une coupe qui taille vraiment très grand, mais c'est le concept. Idéale pour porter quelque chose en-dessous. Si vous aimez vous habiller large, c'est parfait. Sinon, prévoyez une taille en-dessous. Le coloris est joli, le tissu est robuste.
