- The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with these shorts. The fit is perfect - I’m only 5’2” so basketball shorts normally run very long for me. These are great! Not too long but not too short. They are comfy and thick enough that they aren’t sheer.
