I have been in need of a lightweight jacket for a while now, and I’m happy with what I got. I would say the fit is true to size, but loose, with no restriction on movement. It fits like a bomber jacket, but the material feels more like a windbreaker, especially with the mesh lining. It is extremely breathable, and perfect for those days that are too warm for a sweatshirt, but too cold for just a t-shirt. There is also enough room to wear a thin sweatshirt under, if the weather calls for it. The design is simple but sleek, and can be worn with just about anything and look good. It has two button pockets on the front, and an open pocket on the sleeve with a second zipper pocket under the flap for storage. I do wish the open pocket on the sleeve had a button like the two on the front though, so it wouldn’t flap around in the wind and while moving around. While I like the jacket a lot, there are a few things I would change. The first being to add a button on the sleeve pocket like I mentioned above. The second would be to remove the extra material near the zipper (picture for reference). This small change, would make the jacket much more versatile in the number of ways you can wear it. As it stands, the jacket can only really be worn while zipped up to the top. It just doesn’t look good unzipped, or even half zipped because of this piece of material. I also don’t know how I feel about the Jordan branding on the chest. While it is pretty hidden, I still feel like it takes away from the overall wearability of the jacket and could have been put in a more discrete location. Because of this, I would only ever wear this jacket with Jordan shoes, luckily I have plenty of those though.

This is my first bomber style jacket and I like the styling and versatility of this over more traditional options. The two way zipper allows you to get creative with styling the jacket, which I like. Although the cargo pockets look good, they are not very practical for hand use. The jacket worth a look if you’re wanting something a bit different.

  • Statement piece: Versatility

I really like this jacket! It is comfortable and soft, which, based on the material you would not think it. I love, love this black color with the little pop of red on the Jumpman silhouette. At a size Large, it fits true to size. I wouldn’t wear it in the rain because it doesn’t feel waterproof but it would be great to wear for Los Angeles winters (low 60s). As an option, it could be worn over a hoodie pullover or zip up hoodie as a second layer but as my preference, I would wear it over a long sleeve shirt or Nike Sportswear Club fleece. It can be a little noisy when moving around but that’s expected due to the material. Even though it’s categorized as menswear, I would wear this jacket in a pinch! My husband likes the look and feel of it as well. It’s similar to Nike’s Renegade Jacket, just thinner so that thin bomber jacket look, which can be dressed down and worn to a casual active meet up, and worn after if you were going out for food or drinks. Also another design version to try could look like keeping the black material and adding a gold zipper with a gold Jumpman or a red zipper to match the red Jumpman on this design. Overall I’d recommend this jacket, and will look to purchase one for my husband.
