Book smooth

The outside is pure Book, with a workwear-inspired upper that adds durability, while a suede collar and genuine leather across the forefoot provide more reinforcement and a familiar, plush, broken-in feel out of the box.

Plant and pivot

A top-loaded midfoot strong plastic plate helps keep your foot stable when making sudden movements like sharp plants, Book-like pivots and jabs in the post and opportunistic cuts.

Cut hard

Satisfait, comme pour tous mes achats précédents chez NIKE où je dois être l'un des plus fidèles et vieux clients puisque j'ai 84 ans et suis handicapé. Chaussures originales, novatrices qui font détourner les regards ce qui est bon signe.
Great option for basketball or casual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this version of the Book 1 because I liked the possible look with casual or athletic shorts. The style of the shoe reminds me a lot of hybrid of an AF1 and a Cortez. The one drawback is the higher cut underneath the ankle. If you wear low cut or no show socks the shoe rubs a bit funny until it’s broken in.
