- The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking for some longer socks for the winter. I know these aren't knee-high, but after washing, they're just slightly longer than an ankle sock. Thickness is fine.
