How This Was Made
- The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
- In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester produces up to 30% lower carbon emissions than virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfill and waterways.

I really like the overall feel and performance of the Nike Dri‑FIT Mavn tank top. The fabric is soft, smooth, and is comfortable to wear throughout the day. The Dri‑FIT technology does a great job keeping you cool and dry, and is breathable and easy to move in. I also appreciate the wide armholes and neckline, which give it a relaxed, athletic look and make layering over a racerback sports bra super easy. The fit is a little snugger than expected. It’s not uncomfortable, but it’s definitely more form‑fitting than the pictures suggest. If you prefer a looser or more relaxed fit, you might want to size up. Overall, still a great choice for workouts, sports, or everyday wear.
