ACG Lava Loft

This is absolutely my new favorite jacket!! I run warm and sweat easily in the armpit area more than anything and this jacket cuts the chill while letting my body breathe well. When it started to warm up, the jacket morphed into a light shirt feel. It’s so soft, light, comfortable and CUTE! It pairs so nicely with leggings but also jeans due to being so form fitting. The pattern adds a nice touch to make it more fashionable too. It has inside pockets as well which was super helpful for me to put things like car keys that I won’t need right away and left the outside pockets for items I needed to reach frequently. I was able to zip the outside pocket and close the inside one with the provided bungee. It doesn’t have thumb hole but has thumb bungee wraps that I love so much more. Puts less pressure on my hands and is way more comfortable! I wear this hiking, any kids sporting events, fire pit nights with friends… literally everywhere!! I have zero complaints but would add a hood to it if could.

I love this jacket. It’s extremely breathable, which is perfect when I’m running and sweating when it’s cold outside, but it’s still keeping me warm. It’s very lightweight and the fabric is extremely flexible which is also important while running. I love that I can also just wear the jacket out and about because it looks like a regular jacket. I also appreciate the two zipper pockets on the outside and the cinched pocket inside. It makes carrying my things easier while on a run. The only thing I don’t love is the zipper. I struggle with getting the zipper apart every time I try to take the jacket off. Otherwise, the jacket is fabulous.

This jacket has exceeded my expectations with its plethora of features. The first thing I noticed about this when I took it out of the package was that it is soft and warm, yet breathable. There are rows of little ventilation holes in between each row of down insulation. This is genius because when you’re running or exercising you are kept warm but not too hot and the jacket itself doesn’t catch the wind and puff up. It also has soft elastic thumb hole straps which keep the sleeves in place. When I went to zip up the jacket I was concerned about it possibly being too snug on my hips, but it zipped right up because the bottom half of the back of the jacket is a stretchy soft fabric! This makes it so much more versatile and curvy girl friendly! These stretchy panels are also on the bottom of the sleeves going all the way down which is helpful for mobility in your arms. There is also a cord at the bottom of the jacket that can be tightened to keep the wind out. I am a large and usually wear a 10 or 12 depending on the brand. The size large was a great fit with plenty of room for a long sleeve shirt underneath if needed. Lastly, I love that the entire jacket can be packed into a pocket attached to the inside panel. I will definitely be wearing this jacket all season long, not just for exercising but for everyday use!
