Surprisingly Lightweight!

This cleat is super lightweight! Shockingly so for how responsive they are. The fit is runs narrow but otherwise feels good on the foot. They grip the turf really well and kept me quick on my feet. I wish the fabric was a little more breathable but otherwise it does feel high quality and like it will last a while.

The Nike Mercurial Vapor 17 is incredibly lightweight and feels fast the moment you put it on. The new AtomKnit upper provides a close, barefoot-like touch, while the sole plate could use better traction and lockdown. The fit is snug and responsive, making it ideal for pacey attackers and wingers. The only downsides are the premium price and that some players may need time to adjust to the tighter fit. Overall, one of the best speed boots available right now.

These are truly so light! Out of the box they didn't require any breaking in. It feels like there is nothing on your feet. But I have high arches and while I prefer a tight shoe these were very tight. I normally wear 2 socks while I play but I was only able to wear one with these. I feel like I should have sized up a half size. While I was playing they were comfortable but they were so light I almost felt like I wasn't wearing shoes. The feel of direct raw touch to the ball is going to take getting used to. I need a few more games to really get comfortable with these boots but the look and feel of them is worth it.

Weighing approximately 155 grams (Men's size 9, FG), it is the lightest Mercurial to date, up to 20% lighter than the previous generation, designed to feel fast and responsive in every direction.
The Vapor 17 is lighter than the previous iteration. Every gram of the shoe was considered as the team stripped back as much as possible while maintaining optimal performance in the build. The upper has been redesigned from GripKnit to AtomKnit, Nike's lightest Flyknit ever. The FlyLite plate is incredibly thin yet strong, with advanced film carrier construction to keep weight as low as possible without sacrificing traction or responsiveness.
With its feathery Atomknit upper and FlyLite plate, the Vapor 17 Elite is lighter and tuned for quick cuts, sharp changes of direction and agility in tight spaces. The Superfly 11 Elite is built for explosive acceleration and fast sprints, pairing an Air Zoom plate, ZoomX foam and a FlyWeave Ultra upper for a spring-loaded feel at top speed.
Atomknit is Nike's lightest, most transparent Flyknit construction to date. It wraps the foot with minimal material so the boots practically disappear on your foot, bringing you closer to the ball.
