The colorway is timeless, the black and red hits perfectly, and it goes with just about anything in my closet. Some shoes come and go, but this is one of those pairs that will never look outdated. Comfort is solid for an AJ1 Low, but what really makes this shoe special is the history behind it. You’re wearing one of the most iconic color schemes in sneaker culture, and it still turns heads decades later. Whether I’m in jeans, shorts, or sweats, these always work. As someone who buys sneakers to wear and not just collect, this pair gets plenty of rotation. The leather feels great, the shape is clean, and every time I put them on, I’m reminded why the Bred colorway is considered one of the greatest ever. If you’re on the fence, stop thinking and buy them. Some sneakers are hype. These are a classic.
