Nike ACG Zegama Trail GORE-TEX

I've been a huge fan of Nike’s GORE-TEX since buying my first pair a few years ago. I was so excited to try these new shoes with all my favorite features plus a new upgrades. The weatherproofing remains my favorite part of these shoes - keeping my feet warm and dry and having traction in the cold, wet weather is the most important and these do not disappoint. The extra cushion and support felt great for my plantar fasciitis. I also appreciated the improved ankle cuff and how it kept any trail debris out of my shoes. I can’t wait to wear these on my trail runs all winter long!

Summer has left the chat, and it’s clear as day that Mother Nature has chosen chaos! SMH. Luckily for me, the Nike ACG Zegama Trail GTX seems ready for gloomy skies, chilly breezes, surprise rain showers, and maybe even a snowflake or two. Thanks to the GORE-TEX construction and rugged outsole, these shoes will definitely come in handy for my outdoor runs (who am I kidding? I mean outdoor walks), family outings with the kids for pumpkin or apple picking, and good old everyday errands. Now, while I may be rocking my special Halloween sneakers in these pictures, make no mistake—these shoes will actually be putting in WORK when I head out trick-or-treating. Because let’s be honest, nobody wants cold, soggy feet while hunting for candy for hours on end. Now, here’s where things get a little dicey. While I love the practicality and weather-ready features, the design feels a little too basic for my taste. Fall and winter are already serving gray skies and gloomy vibes, so why not add some bold colors, brighter accents, or fun details to spice things up? Y’all know I love a sneaker with a little personality! These have the functionality to handle outdoor adventures, but the design could use a little extra flavor. Overall, they’re a solid addition to my sneaker rotation for the colder months. Nike, you’ve got the all-weather features covered, but let’s give these babies a glow-up to match their performance. I would definitely recommend based on performance and functionality.

Love these shoes. They’re so beyond comfortable and amazing hiking and walking shoes. I took these shoes on 4 different hikes and loved how well they kept my feet comfortable and supported. I originally was worried about their support and durability due to the lightness of the fabric of the shoes but they held up really well and they ended up sooo lovely. I can’t say enough good things about these shoes and the color ways only add to how much I love them. The black out colorway is so gorgeous and goes with everything. I especially love it. There truly is nothing I hate about this shoe even the blisters I was worried I’d get after wearing the shoes in a bit never happen because the fabric is light and comfortable which I rarely experience. Loved these shoes.
