Tried the smaller air max Nike lacrosse bag for my younger son(3rd grade) It’s nice and does fit everything. But having everything inside the bag(helmet) makes a difference when packing the car and traveling. With the bigger bag you don’t have to pack it as carefully, which speeds my kid up after games. For a 5/6 grader it’s a bit big but I would rather buy once and let him grow into it. Also, other kids have it so we put a colored tag on the top handle. Good quality zippers. Good material.
