ACG Lava Loft

I love the versatility of the ACG Lava Loft Training Running Jacket! It’s been perfect as we transition into cooler weather especially when our mornings are chilly and our afternoons are much warmer. I love that it has a slim torso which fits me really nicely. The hip area is tight, which works well for me but I think it would be a problem if I had wider hips. The added details of the thumbholes and dual zippers are a nice touch. The make of the jacket, with thinner puffy strips and then breathable holes had me question how it would perform but I’m pleased that it was the perfect material and balance to keep you warm but let you breath during a run. I love that I can wear this for a run and running errands! I’m excited to put more miles in with this jacket.

I really appreciate how lightweight this jacket is while still providing warmth. I was able to comfortably wear a sweater underneath without it being too tight, fits true to size. The style is very clean and looks good with both athletic wear and with jeans. The inside pocket to use as a stuff bag for the jacket was also a nice feature, it makes it very easy to store it in a purse or backpack if you want an additional layer without the bulk. Highly recommend for the fringe seasons.

The material of the jacket is really nice. I loved the pockets, especially the large interior pocket! The fit was okay overall, but the adjustable cinch waist felt tight around my hips. The multidirectional zipper helped a little by reducing some of the tightness. The sleeves were long and wide on me. I'm 5'1" and petite so sleeve length is generally a challenge for me. I was surprised by how loose the sleeves were compared to the snug fit of the jacket through the body. Overall, it is well made and a great material, but the fit could be better for petite frames and those with wider hips.
