# Mr. YouTube bjuder på dansmoves med feel good-känsla

Mr. YouTube visar upp sina karaktäristiska Lite Feet-moves i centrala Los Angeles.
"Hör upp, allihop", säger han och tystnaden lägger sig över dansstudion. Alla väntar. "BOOM! Då kör vi, här är han, Mr. YouTube, så klart, the one and only från Bronx i New York!"
Ingen introducerar Mr. YouTube bättre än han själv, alltså Switzon Haney, även kallad Switz (som uttalas "Swiss"). Den självlärde och självutnämnde "King of Lite Feet" – en dansstil han lanserade i Harlem och Bronx i början på 2000-talet – hävdar dessutom att han var den första dansaren som blev viral på YouTube. Därav smeknamnet.
## "Jag försöker ge människor självförtroende ... det är vad jag utstrålar."
Självklart har Mr. YouTube energi och självförtroende så att det räcker och blir över. "Det är det jag utstrålar. Jag försöker ge människor självförtroende", säger han under en Lite Feet-danslektion i en dansstudio i centrala Los Angeles. "Självförtroende är allt."
Självsäkerheten handlar om bekräftelse, inte arrogans. Hans karisma får alla som dras till honom att vilja röra på sig. "Ibland kan dans vara riktigt coolt men samtidigt avskräckande", säger han. "Man kanske tror att det är för svårt. Jag försöker göra min stil lättillgänglig och välkomnande. Jag älskar att se människor försöka."
Så vad är hans stil egentligen? Alla som någon gång åkt tunnelbanan i New York och hört "It's showtime! Showtime!" ropas när dörrarna stängs känner antagligen till Lite Feet.
Det är mycket fotarbete och hatt- och skotrick – som att sparka av sig ena skon och sedan fånga upp den på foten igen. Alla lyckas inte alltid med tricken, inte ens Mr. YouTube själv, men han bryr sig inte. Det handlar inte om att vara perfekt utan om att njuta av friheten att få uttrycka sig själv utan rädsla för att misslyckas. Som en del i det brukar Lite Feet-dansare ge varandra massor av pepp.
## "Förmedla positiv energi till andra, så får du det tillbaka."
Mr. YouTubes ständigt positiva attityd är något han kämpat hårt för att uppnå. "Jag kommer från ett tufft område", säger han, plötsligt allvarlig. "Mycket negativitet överallt, helt enkelt".
I svåra stunder har han använt dansen för att hjälpa sig själv – och andra. "Jag har alltid haft dansen som ett sätt att avreagera mig på. Varje gång jag har varit med om något jobbigt har dansen blivit mitt verktyg. Att dansa har varit bra för min mentala hälsa, mitt självförtroende och min fysiska hälsa. Det är som terapi. Så ta hand om din kropp och ditt sinne och förmedla positiv energi till andra, så får du det tillbaka."
