I used to love these, but I had to kill it (the idea of wearing Metcon)

Sole is very hard. I understand that for weightlifting you need a good sole. But the Metcon have evolved to a stiff and hard sole that erases all contact with the ground. No information to your feet from the shoes. And they're hot. So, for context: I've been using Vivo Barefoot (I own two pairs) for training but each time I wish to do something more technical I switch to my old Metcon 6 that boasted a hybrid sole (hard on the heel but flexible on the toes). The new Metcon were a bad experience for me. I don't recommend for an all-round training experience, better stick to my barefoot and the occasional switch to the ol' Metcon 6.
