Lava Looks Ripper, But Where's the Fluffy Cloud Ride Gone, Mate?

G'day, mates! Yo, it's me, an old-school surfer from the Gold Coast, shreddin' waves all day and chillin' on the beach. Listen up, I just slipped into these new Nike Book Two kicks, the ones with that lava design lookin' like molten magma from a volcano – fair dinkum, visually it's a total bomb! The colorway is epic, makes me feel like I'm stompin' across a Hawaiian beach post-eruption, totally stoked on the vibe. But hold up, 'cause the rest ain't such a barrel ride... Ya know, I've had three pairs of the Book One, and those bad boys were my absolute fave ever, no cap! They were fluffy as clouds underfoot, soft like a sea foam pillow, foot felt like it was restin' after nailin' the perfect tube. Zero pain, pure comfort, I could run the beach all arvo without a hitch. And what'd they do in the Book Two? Crikey, they ditched the best bit! Now they're hard as a rock under the swell, crushin' the foot like a full-on wipeout. Feelin' like a total kook in fresh boots who ain't got the board dialed yet. Only hope is it'll ease up with more wear, break in and get back to that comfy flow, otherwise it's a massive bummer. All in all, the lava design is a ripper, but comfort-wise it's a downgrade, mates. If you're chasin' that visual shock, grab 'em – but if ya value ease like me after a sesh on the waves, stick with the Book One. Hang loose! 🏄♂️
