Running Shorts with Pockets

Built to carry what matters

Running shorts with pockets help you keep your essentials close and safe without breaking your flow. Slide in your key, card, gel or phone, then focus on the road ahead. Some styles feature drop-in pockets for quick access, while others have secure closures for extra confidence on rougher routes. If you prefer a locked-in feel, choose running shorts with zip pockets that help keep small items locked down as you move.

Lightweight comfort from start to finish

Every run feels better when your kit works with you. Nike Dri-FIT technology moves sweat away from your skin so it can evaporate faster, helping you stay dry and comfortable. Select designs use Nike Dri-FIT ADV technology, which combines moisture-wicking performance with advanced engineering for targeted breathability. Lightweight fabrics feel smooth and airy. Look out for mesh panels that boost ventilation, as well as side splits that make movement easy, whether that's a warm-up jog or intervals.

Storage that moves with your stride

A good pocket should feel secure, not distracting. That's why many of our pairs have storage close to the body, which helps reduce bounce. Running shorts can have a pocket for phone storage at the back, side or within an inner layer, depending on the silhouette. 2-in-1 running shorts add a supportive inner short that can hold essentials snugly. Brief-lined and unlined options give you varying levels of coverage, so you can pick the feel that suits your run and the conditions.

Fits for road, trail and training

Among our running shorts with zip pockets, you'll find cuts that match your pace and terrain. Styles with shorter inseams feel light and fast for everyday miles or sprint work. Longer fits offer extra coverage for gym sessions, strength training and relaxed movement. Trail-running shorts crafted from durable fabrics feature practical pockets and reflective design elements for outdoor routes. Elasticated waistbands and inner drawcords let you adjust the fit, so your shorts stay in place through hills, drills and park runs.

Ready beyond the run

Running shorts with phone pockets aren't only for race days or training. They're easy options to wear before, during and after movement. Pull them on for stretching, weekend walks or recovery days when comfort comes first. Four-way-stretch materials move naturally with your body, while breathable construction helps you stay cool. You can also find performance styles made with recycled materials for repeat wear and everyday motion.
