Women's V2K Run x Doernbecher Freestyle

As part of the Doernbecher Freestyle program, which gives young patients at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital the opportunity to work with Nike design teammates, Khovny created her very own V2K Run to celebrate (quite literally!) everything she loves. You'll find shiny snakes, a drawing of her favorite stuffie, Papa Bear and a miniature recreation of Khovny's stuffed money, Pinkie Doo Doo. Each shoe boasts a different bright color inspired by one of her favorite musician’s album covers. Khovny hopes you'll wear the detachable friendship bracelet to honor the memory of her brother Ryan, who had the same rare condition as his sister. Doernbecher Freestyle is a more than 20-year partnership between OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Nike, where young patients design sneakers that represent their individual passions, life experiences, medical journeys and relationships—with 100% of the profits benefiting the hospital. Since 2004, Nike’s Doernbecher Freestyle Program has raised more than $44 million for OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital so kids can receive the care they need to reach their greatest potential.
