From Chicago to the World. Nike believes in the power of sport to bring people together and shape the future.
With that belief in mind, Nike and Virgil Abloh have joined forces to design the NikeLab Chicago Re-Creation Center c/o Virgil Abloh, a cultural hub giving youth access to mentorship and providing the tools needed to express their creativity.
Open from May 31st to July 28th, 2019, the Re-Creation Center empowers youth by engaging in the physical and cultural energy of Chicago.
The Re-Creation Center will spark creativity through workshops, giveback programs, exclusive product, and local influential forces.
Abloh hand-picked local creators to host workshops with the goal of sharing their knowledge through mentorship. Sign-ups for each workshop will be available via SNKRS.
