Accelerating Nike’s culture of innovation, the Cryptokicks iRL is the first native Web3 sneaker featuring the latest technology which combines decades of Nike sneaker innovation with RTFKT’s vision to merge the digital and physical worlds. The Cryptokicks iRL pay homage to the Nike Mag which debuted in 1989. The Air Mag was designed by sneaker legend Tinker Hatfield, then brought to life by Nike innovation teams in charitable auctions in 2011 and 2016 with auto-lacing tech.
The Cryptokicks iRL is the first smart sneaker released from RTFKT featuring the next evolution of smart sneaker technology.

The public draw registration will happen on RTFKT’s website, rtfkt.com, exclusively for the US. The public draw registration will be open from 7 Dec, 11 AM EST to 9 Dec, 11 AM EST. To enter the draw, you need to have an RTFKT account, a cryptocurrency wallet supported by WalletConnect, at least .5 ETH in your wallet and a US shipping address. Only 1 entry per unique RTFKT account and wallet address will be allowed. If you don’t have an RTFKT account, you will be requested to create one when you enter the draw on the RTFKT website.
The private mint for RTFKT x Nike Lace Engine digital collectible holders will begin 12 Dec, 4:30 PM EST.

The Cryptokicks iRL features auto-lacing, enhanced lighting, haptic feedback, gesture control, walk detection, App connectivity, AI/ML algorithms and wireless charging via the RTFKT Powerdeck.
The sneakers will be limited to 19,000, and the colorway split will be defined by the collectors choices. They will be sold as digital collectibles (NFT) that redeem the physical counterpart, in a process RTFKT calls forging.
The sneaker comes in 4 unique colorways—Blackout, Stone, Ice and Space Matter.
