It has been a while since I've owned casual sneakers like these. For a long time, I have used classic Converse as my go-to casual shoe. Hence, I was not entirely sure about these shoes, as they are very different from what I am used to. Well, after trying them on and using them for a while, I can safely say that I love them. First, when it comes to aesthetics, the all-black model does not clash with my current style, and I can use these alternatively with my Converse. I think these shoes are both sober and stylish. If you are concerned that shoes with an air capsule might not be your style (as I was), this model is a good option. The air capsule is not too conspicuous, even when it dominates most of the midsole. Again, as I mentioned earlier, I think it strikes a good balance between being stylish and sober. Now, when it comes to comfort, I absolutely loved them. As an overpronator, I find the stability of these shoes to be really nice. Further, honoring the Air brand, they also feel very cushioned. As I mentioned before, I am more of a Converse guy, but these shoes are significantly more comfortable and probably better for me due to my overpronation issues. Hence, this is a shoe that I definitely see myself wearing more often and getting into my casual shoes rotation.

First off, I absolutely love the style of these! I had a pair similar to these growing up and it brought me so much nostalgia :) the all black design is super sleek and it really pulls any outfit together. I got complimented every time I wore these so definitely worth it in my book. I’ve only worn these to walk around so I’m not too sure how they would hold up as a running or hiking shoe but my feet were fine after wearing them all day. The inside is cushioned however I don’t think it has a lot of arch support so if you do need that extra support perhaps get some insoles. I’m a true size 7 women’s(5.5 men’s) and these fit like a glove. If you’re in between sizes I would say size up just so you have some extra room. These are neither narrow nor wide so something to keep in mind. The platform isn’t too crazy but they do make me 2 inches taller which I truly appreciate since I’m 5’3. The only downside is that these aren’t lightweight and they do feel a little heavy on my feet. This hasn’t prevented me from wearing them but I do wish the material was lighter.

I like the design decision to make it look like liquid dripping off the front the shoe. It was hard to make a good fit out of it due to the contrast of the color black. The shoe is amazing to walk in, I did not feel tired like most dunks from Nike make me feel. This is a good shoe for those that like to do a quick run to the store and not care about style. If I had a different color pair I would have more of an outfit. Nonetheless the design starts growing on you the more you wear it, its a good shoe that can be made better.
