De napjainkban a fiúkhoz képest kétszer annyi lány hagy fel a sporttal. A Nikenál közösségi partnereinkkel és szakértőinkkel együttműködve igyekszünk megfordítani ezt a lemorzsolódási tendenciát, aminek részeként létrehoztunk egy útmutatót a lányok edzéséhez: a forrásanyag célja, hogy segítse az edzőket a fiatal sportolók mentorálásában, ösztönzésében és támogatásában. Utolsó frissítés: 2024. június 3. Olvasási idő: 4 perc  A valóságban a sportfelszerelések és -helyszínek többségét nem lányoknak tervezték. És ezt sok szempontból akaratlanul is megerősítjük. Ha a lánymosdóig egy egész parkon át kell kelni, vagy a lányoknak a fiúk régi, levetett mezét kell viselni, az azt az üzenetet közvetíti, hogy a lányok nem egyenrangú sportolók. A védőruházatok megtervezése során sem mindig tartják észben a lányok igényeit, ezért legtöbbjük kényelmetlen, és akár balesetveszélyes is lehet. ## „A lányoknak túl gyakran kell beérniük azzal, ami van, és ez negatívan befolyásolja a sporttal kapcsolatos élményeiket.” A lányoknak kényelmes sportruházatra, megfelelő eszközökre, könnyen elérhető, tiszta illemhelyekre és öltözőkre van szükségük. Az edzéseket biztonságos helyeken és megfelelő időpontban kell megtartani, hogy mindig biztonságban érezzék magukat. Bár arra nincs lehetőségünk, hogy új mosdót építsünk nekik, de figyelembe vehetjük ezeket a szempontokat olyankor, amikor az edzésekhez keressük a megfelelő helyet, hogy biztonságos és kényelmes környezetet biztosítsunk számukra. És ne feledjük, sok olyan lány van, akit egyáltalán nem ösztönöznek sportolásra. Számukra az is kockázatot jelent, ha megjelennek az edzéseken, ezért nagyon fontos, hogy pozitív, egészséges környezetet teremtsünk, ahol biztonságban érezhetik magukat és kikapcsolódhatnak, és amely mentes a hátrányos megkülönböztetéstől és az ítélkezéstől.  ## Megadni az esélyt a sikerre 1. __Adjuk meg a biztonság és a közösséghez tartozás érzését__ Ellenőrizzük a termet edzések és meccsek előtt: fontos, hogy veszélyektől mentes, jól megvilágított és megfelelően felügyelt környezetet biztosítsunk. A mosdóknak és zuhanyzóknak jól hozzáférhetőnek és védettnek kell lenniük. Ha egy hely nem felel meg az igényeinknek, keressünk alternatívákat (például egy másik tornatermet vagy parkot), vagy ütemezzük át az edzések időpontját a nappali órákra. 2. __Teremtsünk befogadó környezetet__ Éreztessük a sportolókkal, hogy a csapat tagjai. Attól, hogy a nemi identitási normák változnak, a gyermekek továbbra is szeretnék érezni, hogy tartoznak valahová. A „srácok” helyett használjunk befogadóbb kifejezéseket, például „csapattagok” vagy „játékosok”. Engedjük nekik, hogy személyre szabják környezetüket, akár olyan egyszerű dolgokkal, mint a csapatmolinó kihelyezése. 3. __Válasszuk meg gondosan a felszerelést__ A lányok és a fiúk eltérő igényekkel rendelkeznek, főleg mikor kamaszodni kezdenek. Fontoljuk meg alaposan, hogy az olyan dolgok, mint például a felszerelés mérete, a védőfelszerelések megléte és a ruházat, hogyan befolyásolhatják a lányok sportteljesítményét. Feltűnik, hogy egy lány gyakrabban száll ki a játékból, pedig korábban folyamatosan játszott? Lehet, hogy fizikailag kényelmetlenül érzi magát.
