Nike Phantom 6 Low Pro

I have been wanting to try the Phantoms and they are amazing. The feel of the upper material and the shape of the boot fits my foot perfectly. From the moment I put on the boot they felt broken in and ready to play. The upper material is the perfect amount of flexible to where I can lift my toes to feel the ball when controlling it. Overall I love the design of the shoes as I mentioned, the shape is great, I like the ribbed upper material and the sock/tongue lace cover. I would say the upper material is what I liked most about the boot. It is so comfortable and I feel like I have so much control and good touch with these. The upper feels really quality and can perform well too. I did add a picture of the the outside left of the boot, when I received it the sole was already separating from the upper so that’s a worry because after many games on turf I could imagine the shoes would separate from the underfoot. If I could change one thing I would like the base (1st lace loop) to be accessible. The part that covers the lace makes it hard to pull on those to loosen the boot. Overall I love these boots and would recommend to anyone.

Fit/Feel: The Phantom 6 Low Pro TF are super comfortable right out of the box which is something I look for in any football boot. They form to your foot after the first wear. If you’re like me and like a really snug fit, I would maybe recommend going down half a size. I knew to do this because I had the Phanton GX 2 Elite boots last year and had to go down half a size compared to my normal size when I wear the Mercurial Vapor Elite line. I love the one piece upper, however my only qualm, and maybe it’s because I like my boots to fit so snug, is that the top “tongue” bit sticks out a bit too high in my opinion, and so normally I cut that bit off and I am able to enjoy a much more comfortable fit. Upper: The upper is nice and flexible and your feet have good range of motion right out of the box and it improves over time with more wears. The upper is nice, thin, and you get a great ball feel, however it isn’t perfect as they are a bit thicker compared to a Mercurial Vapor for example. Soleplate: I think the rubber stud pattern on these boots are perfect for either indoor soccer or any flatter turf pitch. I think on a turf pitch that is a bit longer you could have some trouble slipping if it is wet and may need an AG pair of boots instead. Lacing: I prefer a central lacing system, but if you are someone who likes a cleaner inside of the foot zone these boots would be perfect for you. Laces are the perfect length in my opinion! You can tie the boots and not have the laces hanging too far down which is an important thing for me personally. Overall if you’re looking for a comfortable, consistent indoor/turf boot these 100% get the job done. No break in time required, nice and flexible, and an upper that’s on the thinner side but not super thin that still offers a great ball feel.
