From early on in my running career I’ve been a fan of the Nike Streak. It has been and continues to be a great race day option for lightweight speed on asphalt surfaces. In the current era of way too much cushion on running shoes, the Streak is no exception and Nike has added tons to this shoe. I won’t digress about how much I dislike this trend. However, the Streakfly remains very lightweight and fits like a glove, even for runners with wider feet. The 2.0 vs. the previous version retains many of the same characteristics - a foam / anti-slip strip on the inside ankle, durable lacing, an extremely comfortable and unobtrusive tongue, breathable mesh upper, and a relatively flat profile - but it improves on traction and seems to round out what had been a pronounced aerodynamic look. So, this is a great racing shoe for medium distances. I wear this shoe for speed even up to the half-marathon and marathon distances, but based on durability it is more designed for about the 10K distance. All in all a wonderful option from Nike for road racing at PR speed.

Full Speed
We integrated a full-length carbon-fibre Flyplate that delivers a propulsive feel. It helps you smoothly transition through every stride and tackle turns with confidence.
Optimal responsiveness
ZoomX foam, our most responsive foam, provides optimal responsiveness. The result is a shoe so light, it feels like it disappears on your foot while still helping you reach your fastest pace.
Sticky outsole
The outsole is made from a thin, sticky, webbed substance that helps reduce the weight of the shoe while still providing optimal traction.

Fine Tuning In Current Cushioned Shoe Era
Fudge - 28 Apr 2025
A must for intermediate and expert runners. Skip for beginners
AAGOLF - 28 Apr 2025
Overall: This shoe is a must for those trying to increase speed. The aggressive design makes it a skip if you’re a beginner runner. Ideal for anything less than a 5k. I would leave the 10k running in these shoes to experts only. Not sure if its the design or placebo (probably both) but I’ve been running a consistent 3 miles in other brand shoes and in these and I shave of 1 min 30 sec per mile in these shoes. I do think because of the design, I was leaning more forward and running faster to get the benefit of the carbon plate spring. Comfort: right off the bat, this shoe will wow you with how light it is - without question the lightest pair of shoes I’ve ever worn. The cushion feels great with s nice spring due to the carbon plate while running. The shoe is narrow but with the upper, hugs your foot like a sock. I’ve been running a few times with these shoes and I go sockless. Look: I LOVE the way these shoes look. They are oh no aggressive with the perfect Nike logo on it. Durability - To be seen. I’ve only worn them a few times but the soles are grippy and so no signs of wear yet. The laces are top notch with little ridges that ensure they stay tied up while running.
Wish I would’ve sized up
Andie - 28 Apr 2025
I wish I would’ve sized up. I am normally a 7 (8.5 womens) but sometimes need to size up to a 7.5 (9 womens) for a better fit. This was one of those times. I’m in between sizes but def should have sized up. They are super lightweight and give you that extra pep in your step. After a little bit on my run I felt my toes being sore but I attribute that to being just a tad bit small. Overall a great shoe but I felt like I would’ve gotten more out of it if I had sized up
