Not true to size
It is quite small for a medium and a little tight all around. I did not like the look or feel. I would not recommend these shorts if you are looking for comfort. It is not very flattery.

Best Authletic shorts for everyday youth and high school.
I am never disappointed with Nike Pro 3" Shorts I jajavenneenbubuying them for over 6yrs for my daughter's athletics and will continue into high school.

Ride up, so do not prevent chafing
I bought these to wear under my running shorts to ease chafing from my thighs rubbing together. They did not help with the chafing at all. I thought 5" would be long enough, except that they ride up my thighs when I am running and I have to constantly pull them down. I'm 5'9", about 165 lbs and would consider myself an "average" size. Good stretch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are super comfy. They have a great stretch to them but are also compressive at the same time. They do ride up with a lot of movement though. I’m typically a size medium and went with a large. I would recommend sizing up for the best fit!

more appropriate inseam!
