Firm ground
Growing up as a kid in Washington DC, the local sports centre was a haven of sorts for KD. It's where he fell in love with the game. The lessons learnt helped build a bedrock that would last him a lifetime. This special design is inspired by that foundation, taking its cues from the centre's logo, including an embroidered handshake emblem on the heel.

The bottom layer of the upper has Nike Air cushioning at the heel to add a pop to your step. A strong plastic plate directly underfoot contours as you flex. It works with the forefoot Air Zoom unit to give you a snappy first step, while also providing support and stability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are different than what I go for colors, but I wanted something different. I been wearing Kd shoes last pair was the 16 which were really snug from the sides to the toe box . But these were surprisingly really well made for a wide foot . Of course they’re always know for the bite but by far I like these so much more than the recent kds. They do look bigger but it’s functional is all that matters.
