TL,DR if the toe box was wider, they'd be 5 stars easy.

First, the good stuff. After about 12 hours of workouts at my gym, two things have become clear about the Metcon 10. First, they're built like absolute tanks; and second, your feet are locked down once you have them on. The most stable and secure shoe I've ever worn. However, it turns out the shoes' greatest strengths are also their greatest flaw. I guess I must have a slightly wide foot, because they tend to rub my pinky toes pretty badly. The midsole actually comes up 2-3 mm along the lateral side of the toe box, which I think is part of why you feel so secure in the shoe. And, because they're made to take a beating, the part that rubs doesn't seem to want to soften up.
