Fragile Heel strap

Had to settle for this since the 2018’s are discontinued. Heel pull strap is not a continuous loop but simply stitched into the fabric. It broke on mine as well as a pair purchased for my wife just after a couple of wears. The prior version was so much more supportive, this shoe feels like nothing more than a loose sock.
So light weight they feel like you are walking barefoot!

These shoes have a unique design where the heel portion of the shoe extends further back. It sure pads your heels when you walk or run. The only issue I have seen with this type of design is the fabric tying the rear pad with the upper shoe. The pull tab when putting on the shoes shows signs that it will tear easily. Overall the look and feel are a great feature for any type of style. I like the way they look when you dress them up with shorts. I highly recommend them.
Disappointed For The First Time

I bought these for my Son's Bday. Both of us workout and walk on the treadmill and he walks the dog about 2 miles daily. I am a Nike Lover since the 70's and he has always worn and loved Nikes as well. For the first time ever, the shoes purchased did not last. While he liked the style and comfort- they wore out in just over 2 months. There are holes in the bottom of each shoe. There has been no extra wear and tear, just daily use as mentioned. When we received these- they did seem ridiculously light but we never dreamed they'd wear through so quickly. My Son began wearing these the first week of June 2026 - it is now the last week of July.
